USC Lion Soccer Club seeks the service of a Sports Trainer for the 2014 season.

We are a small yet ambitious amateur soccer club based in Adelaide’s western suburbs at Grange, currently competing in Saturday Division 3 of the South Australian Amateur Soccer League (SAASL). Having narrowly missed promotion to Division 2 in 2013, the club aims to achieve promotion in 2014 and is seeking a motivated individual to assist us in achieving this goal.

We are seeking someone primarily to assist on match days (Saturday 12-5:30pm), however; availability to attend trainings on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings would be considered an advantage. The position has the potential to be ongoing into 2015 and beyond, and presents a fantastic opportunity for someone to grow the role on an ongoing basis. Current Sports Trainers, University/TAFE students studying Physiotherapy, Human Movement, Massage, Fitness, Training and Leadership courses are encouraged to apply.

Being a small club, we have not previously been able to provide our players with access to a trainer, and as such the position would be well suited to someone of limited experience, or currently studying and looking to gain some experience along with earning some extra cash on the weekend and being part of a great club with a great culture.

Remuneration will be negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and level of commitment (in terms of hours)

Duties:

Preparation of players for training/matches; preparation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment; first aid management; assisting players post training/matches.

Season Schedule:

April 2014 – September 2014
